Triathlon question.......

My 12 year old son has decided that triathlon is going to be his sport. So I signed him up for a sprint triathlon next weekend. It is venued at a lake, water temp estimated at 62 degrees. Could be a degree or two chillier. Full wetsuit or sleeveless? I’m thinking a 3mm sleeveless. Figured that the water isn’t that cold and it would be easier in and out getting to the bike transition and he would have more natural unrestricted arm movement in the water. He’s never worn a wetsuit before and was thinking this would be easiest for him. Thoughts?

The race rules may limit what type of suit you can wear. -- Griff`burg Hokie 05/03/2021 08:37AM
